Nikki Robertson
Nikki Robertson is a February 1998 graduate of Carlson College of Massage Therapy. Before coming to CCMT Nikki received her Associate of Arts Degree and Medical Assistant Degree from Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa. After receiving her degrees Nikki was asked by ICCC to stay on as the Women's Assistant Basketball Coach for the 1994-1995 season and then as the Women's Assistant Volleyball Coach for the 1995 and 1996 seasons. While working with the athletes at ICCC she discovered her passion for massage therapy.
As a licensed and nationally certified massage therapist Nikki has had a successful practice at the downtown YMCA since October 1998. She has been able to continue her work with athletes and people of all ages, fitness levels and backgrounds. She loves that everyday it's something new or different and her clients are always happy to see her.
As an hands on assistant instructor at CCMT since 2001, she has enjoyed every minute of her time spent teaching. She feels that she learns as much from the students as she hopes they learn from her. With her years of experience, knowledge and continued education there is always something new to share. Helping others is truly her passion.
When not working Nikki loves working out, lifting weights, swimming, doing cardio or yoga. She also likes to read, listen to music and hang out with friends. She loves spending time with her family, especially doing anything outdoors. Riding bikes, going for walks or any sport involving a ball her boys decide they want to do. She is married to Tommy and together have two boys TJ and Tyce.
