the school. A 1994 graduate of Carlson College of
Massage Therapy and a licensed massage therapist, I
enjoy a thriving practice in Iowa City, IA. Working in the office of a chiropractor allows me to utilize many of the advanced techniques taught within the curriculum at CCMT.
Like many others, I got interested in the field of massage therapy because I wanted to help others. I am happy to report my initial objective continues to be my passion each day whether I am in the clinic with a client or at the school with a student.

I enjoy being involved in the classroom instruction
on a regular basis. I feel that is the most important part of my job! I will always strive to have an active role in the education students receive at Carlson College of Massage Therapy. I know what it is like to build and maintain a practice and I will do everything possible to help each student achieve that as well! I am proud to have served as a volunteer with the AMTA Iowa Chapter since 1998 holding several offices including serving as Chapter President from 2004-2008. My current position with the AMTA Iowa Chapter is Immediate Past President where I serve as a mentor and an advisor to the current president. My hobbies include camping, hiking, University of Iowa sports (Football and Men's and Women's Basketball), spending time with friends and playing with my two dogs, KC (mini schnauzer) and Maddie (schnoodle - a schnauzer and poodle mix).
